Miso-Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
Brussels Sprouts
4 cups halved brussels sprouts
Olive oil to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Miso Glaze
2 tbsps water
2 tbsps rice vinegar
2 tsps miso paste (I used red miso paste)
1 tbsp agave
Replacements
You can substitute in maple syrup for agave, or lime juice for rice vinegar.
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Toss the brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Preheat a large pan on the stove with olive oil. Cook the brussels sprouts in the pan for 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Finish these in the oven for 20 minutes and flip halfway through.
While these are in the oven, make the miso glaze. Whisk together water, rice vinegar, miso paste, and agave.
Once the brussels sprouts have finished cooking, toss half of them in the glaze. Reserve the second half for dipping. Enjoy!
