Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Bark

Chocolate Bark 2.jpg

Why I love it

This bark was so easy to make, but will have your guests fooled because it looks beautiful and intricate! Plus, who doesn’t love chocolate bark? I made this as a simple treat for Christmas dinner this year, but you can easily switch up the toppings to create an everyday chocolate bark. This flavor combination of the chocolate and peanut butter was just meant to be. I love this bark a choco-lot!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups dairy-free chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life)

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter

  • 2 tbsps pistachios

  • 2 tbsps craisins

Replacements

You can top this bark with your favorite pantry staples! If you have a nut allergy, you can add sunflower butter on top instead of peanut butter.

Recipe

1. Heat up your chocolate chips with coconut oil at 30 second increments in the microwave until they are melted.

2. Pour the chocolate chips onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

3. If your peanut butter is not naturally runny, heat it up in the microwave for 30 second increments as well. Then, pour the peanut butter on top of the chocolate in stripes and get swirly! I made swirls with a toothpick by dragging it through sections of the chocolate and peanut butter.

4. Add the pistachios and craisins on top. I cut the pistachios into halves or quarters so they could show off their vibrant green color.

5. Put this in the fridge to set for 3 or more hours. Make sure you store this in the fridge for optimal flavor and consistency. Enjoy!
