Vegan Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese
Ingredients
•Sliced ciabatta
•One box Mac
•4 slices vegan cheddar
•2 tbsps-1/4 cup pasta water
•1/2 tsp garlic powder
•Salt and pepper to taste
•Red pepper flakes to taste
•Fresh thyme at the end
Replacements
You can substitute in your favorite vegan cheese.
Recipe
1. Boil your water for pasta and salt it. Throw the pasta in.
2. In a separate pot, take some pasta water and mix it with the vegan cheese. Add in your garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes and cook until your desired consistency.
3. Throw your mac into the cheese. Sprinkle in thyme. In a third pan, add some olive oil and toast your bread. Add in the Mac and cheese to build the sandwich and toast for a few additional minutes. Enjoy!
